INTRODUCCION
Estudios han demostrado que en pacientes no tratados con Maloclusión clase II hay retrusión mandibular comparados con pacientes que tienen maloclusión clase I
Existen cambios en el periodo de prepubertad y pubertad en pacientes con este tipo de maloclusión.
Estos cambios son importantes para conocer las características en esta etapa y lograr estabilidad a largo plazo post-tratamiento

RESULTADOS
En la etapa de la pubertad tardía y adulto joven, pacientes con maloclusión Clase II no muestra diferencias significativas en el crecimiento dentofacial con respecto a pacientes con maloclusión Clase I

DISCUSIÓN
Maloclusión clase II es un problema clínico en ortopedia dentofacial.
Existen pocos estudios acerca del crecimiento craneofacial y desarmonía de pacientes Clase II no tratados.
La información recolectada es importante en pacientes en fase de crecimiento y en la evaluación de tratamiento

CONCLUSIONES
Pacientes con desarmonía dentoesqueletal de clase II no muestra cambios significativos en la pubertad tardía y en la etapa del adulto joven.
Cambios en las dimensiones craneofaciales de pacientes de clase II fueron mínimos
