Kangaroos are Australian animals.

Kangaroos eat grass and leaves.

Kangaroos have big strong

back legs and a long tail to

help them hop.

They have short front legs.

Baby kangaroos are called

‘Joeys’.

The mother kangaroo

carries her joey in a pouch.

Joeys drink milk.

When they grow bigger they climb out of the pouch

and eat grass.
