INGLÉS IV

El siguiente compendio de actividades de aprendizaje correspondiente a la
materia de Inglés IV, te servirá para adquirir los aprendizajes esenciales
del semestre 2/1920. Y está elaborado para los grupos: Grupos: 4EA,
4CA, 4AC, 4BC Y 4 AE.
El compendio consiste de apuntes, ejemplos, ejercicios y actividades para
realizar. Entonces, por cada tema habrá una explicación, el cual deberás
de copiar y/o recortar y pegar en tu cuaderno de apuntes, y
posteriormente elaborar los ejercicios y actividades.

INTENSIFICADORES
Los intensificadores son palabras, como su nombre lo dice, que nos ayudan a
intensificar situaciones, aspectos, acciones, estados de ánimo, etc. Ejemplo:

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA PRIMERA ACTIVIDAD:
En tu cuaderno elabora 6 oraciones en inglés de comparativos y 6 de superlativos. De
estos 6 comparativos, 3 oraciones tienen que ser con adjetivos cortos y 3 con adjetivos
largos. De los 6 superlativos, tres oraciones tienen que ser con adjetivos cortos y 3 con
adjetivos largos. En total 12 oraciones.
Cada oración debe de contener un dibujo o imagen que represente el contenido de la
oración.
Estos serán los adjetivos que deberán utilizar tanto para hacer los comparativos y los
superlativos.

SEGUNDA ACTIVIDAD:
Escribe en inglés y en tu cuaderno los siguientes tres momentos de tu día, tu
momento favorito del día, el más emocionante y el más estresante o molesto
y cómo te sentiste al final del día. Tu descripción debe contener dos párrafos
y requiere el uso de la forma comparativa y superlativa. Cada vez que utilices
la forma comparativa y superlativa la deberás de subrayar en tus párrafos.

TAG QUESTIONS
En sesiones anteriores, vimos lo que fueron los auxiliares de verbos. Estos
son muy importantes porque para elaborar Tag quiestions necesitamos
entender que auxiliar o auxiliares le corresponde a cada estructura
gramatical.
Bien ahora trataremos de entender que son las Tag Questions y para que nos
sirven, es decir, que podemos expresar con ellas.
¿Qué son los Tag Questions?
De manera simple, se puede definir a un “tag question” como una pregunta de
confirmación que se agrega al final de una oración afirmativa o negativa.
Example: Your mother is a teacher, isn’t she?
¿Esto existe en tu idioma?
Sí, Son preguntas cortas que nos sirven para confirmar algo que ya sabemos.
Ejemplo: ¿Verdad? ¿No es así?
Ejemplo: Tu mamá es maestra, no es así?

¿Cómo se estructura?
Las Tag Questions se estructuran de la siguiente manera, se necesita de una
oración ya sea afirmativa o negativa, una (,) y el Tag question.
Si tu oración está en forma afirmativa entonces tu tag question es negativo.
Pedro is your brother, isn’t he? (He)
Observa, cuando hablamos de pedro nos referimos a la persona él y el verbo
is está en forma positiva, por lo tanto en el tag question el verbo cambia a
su forma negativa isn’t y en lugar de la persona Predo pones el pronombre
he. Esto cambia dependiendo de la persona y estructura gramatical, por lo
que tendrás que revisar los apuntes anteriores.
Si tu oración está en forma negativa entonces tu tag question es positivo.
Pedro isn’t your brother, is he? (He)
Observa, el verbo isn’t está en forma negativa, por lo tanto en el tag
question el verbo cambia a su forma positiva is e igual en lugar de la persona
Pedro pones el pronombre he.
Estos Tag questions son diferentes de acuerdo a cada estructura
gramatical. Por lo que elaboraremos este tipo de preguntas en, presente,
pasada, futuro, verbo to be en presente, en pasado, y el presente perfecto.

SI SE TE DIFICULTÓ EL TEMA DE LOS “TAG QUESTIONS” TE PROPORCIONO EL
APUNTE SOBRE LOS AUXILIARES DE VERBO PARA QUE ENTIENDAS MEJOR EL
TEMA.
Auxiliary verbs
Los verbos auxiliares son verbos que ayudan a otros verbos y que
generalmente van acompañando con verbos de acción, aunque en algunos casos
pueden usarse solos. Con ayuda de los verbos auxiliares podemos formar los
tiempos compuestos como los continuos, perfectos, al igual que la voz pasiva,
también son los que utilizamos para poder negar o preguntar. De hecho, este
último punto es el que vamos a reforzar en esta lección, durante los semestres
pasados los has estado usando en los diferentes tiempos que se han trabajado
en inglés. ¿No los recuerdas?, ya verás que sí, los verbos auxiliares son: be,
have, do, did y Will. Vamos a recordar cómo y cuándo los usamos al preguntar.
Estructura de las preguntas afirmativas. Les voy a poner el cuadro completo,
pero en realidad el tema en el que se tienen que enfocar es el pasado simple,
ya que es el nuevo tema.

Como puedes ver en el cuadro anterior, la estructura de las preguntas es muy
sencilla, casi toda es igual, lo que cambia según el tiempo son justo los
auxiliares, en presente solo tienes que fijarte bien porque dependiendo del
sujeto, el verbo auxiliar puede ser Do o Does, pero ya te pusimos en el cuadro
cuales van con cada uno por si no lo recordabas. En lo que corresponde al
pasado y el futuro no hay problema porque los auxiliares van con cualquier
pronombre. Recuerda también que el tiempo del verbo no cambia, nuevamente
la diferencia la hace el verbo auxiliar.
Respecto, al verbo To be, el famoso ser o estar que hemos trabajado desde
primer semestre, lo podemos usar como auxiliar o como verbo principal.
Primero veamos la estructura cuando se usa como verbo principal.
