ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL AND ENTREPRENEUR WOMEN
AMEP is an organization that brings together women entrepreneurs, professionals and executives in the United States with the goal of empowering women at the business, professional, social, cultural and family levels.
AMEP is a 501(c)(6) for non-profit corporation.

WHO WE ARE
Empower Latino women by serving as a platform for Latino women to promote their business and professional activities.
Be a mentor to Latina women desiring to become entrepreneurs
MISSION
OBJECTIVES
Contribute to the economic, social, material
and cultural development of women
entrepreneurs and professional women
Forge alliances with entities, companies and groups
with similar purposes to benefit Latino women
Connect women to promote their business and
friendship
Obtain and provide support to offer services that
Latinas require, especially economically vulnerable
women to obtain education, jobs and personal growth
ACTIONS
SUPPORT: Events to support our members to grow their businesses, promote their professional activities and assist those wishing to start a new business.
SPONSORSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS: from and with companies and related groups.
EDUCATION : of women in various arear to advance in their jobs, business, personal relationships and family.
A SENSE OF COMMUNITY: among women to encourage the creation of jobs, women owned businesses and friendship among them.
MENTORING: supporting women to be leaders at all levels , following the example of other successful women.
MEMBERSHIPS : increase the number of members and create new local chapters to have a presence in every state.
WHY BECOME A MEMBER OF AMEP?
AMEP is the only association of its kind in Texas and
other parts of the United States that seeks to address
the needs of Spanish speaking Latino professional and
business women, with programs and activities oriented
specifically to their professional development in their
language of origin: SPANISH.
AMEP is proud to have over 100 active members in its
three years of existence.

DALLAS, TX: On the second Wednesday of each month at: Nuevo León
Restaurant in Farmers Branch (odd months) and The Egg and I in Carrollton
(even months), 8:00 a.m.

AMEP has partnered with DFW International Community Alliance and the Greater Dallas
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to offer our members the benefits of all events of these
organizations and to promote mutual support.
AMEP has also partnered with AeroMexico, the premier Mexican airline to offer special
tariffs and promotion available exclusively to AMEP members, as well as with Aflac to offer
the affordable health insurance benefits for AMEP’s membership and with Randolph Brooks
Federal Credit Union for financial services available to AMEP’s members.

credits, as well as with other financial services. RBFCU is also a non-profit entity.
Due to our partnership agreement with the Ana G. Mendez University System. all our
workshops, seminar, conferences and courses take place at the AGMUS campus in Dallas,

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
AMEP accepts as members all women who:
Are or desire to be economically active, with a desire to learn and share their knowledge, to be involved with their community and are motivated to grow personally, professionally and socially Have submitted their application and paid the membership fee Are admitted as members by the Executive Committee Have access to electronic media, i.e. e-mail, to facilitate communication with AMEP and other members Men are admitted as members under the friendship category
