PROJECT“RAINBOWYOGA”

Aquestprojecte, comel seunom indica, fa referència al iogaenanglès. Enguany l´hem iniciat als tres cursosd´educacióinfantiliamésdelanostraescolahiparticipentresescolesmésdelssegüentspaïsos:Turquia,FrançaiRepúblicaTxeca.

Elportematermealesclassesdepsicomotricitat,onocupaelllocdestinatalarelaxació,conjuntamentamblessessionsd´anglèssetmanals.Aquestesenspermetentreballartotelvocabularipreviperpoderduratermelessessionsdeioga.

Els objectius d´aquest projecte són: que els nens i nenes es familiaritzin amb la llengua anglesa, que puguinintercanviar experiències amb alumnes d´altres països a través de diverses videoconferències i sobretot quegaudeixinfentioga.

ABOUTTHEPROJECT

This etwinning project focuses on learning English through practising yoga. The idea is to share the experience with

different schools and teach each other different poses and ways of relaxing and at the same time learning simple

vocabulary.

AIMS

During this Project the students will be more aware of other European students and learn from each other. The main

aims are:

• To promote self-esteem and health.

• To improve group dynamics, mechanisms of relaxation, breathing and posture correction.

• To encourage body movement and play.

• To learn simple vocabulary in English (animals, nature, colors, numbers).

• To show interest in learning about children who speak different languages.

• To integrate yoga into the curriculum.

• To encourage family involvement in the project.

WORKPROCESS

This project is thought to carry it out throughout the 2nd Term. If the project is succesful and we get good results we are

open to consider the continuity during the 3rd Term.

The project will start by introducing the partners the first weeks of February and agreeing on a calendar to participate in

different activities through a videoconference using Skype (aprox. once per month)

Each school has a coordinating teacher, who is responsible for sharing the project with other teachers and students.

EXPECTEDRESULTS

A blog and Twinspace can be used for sharing the final product of the project.
