What is a suffix?
Suffixes are those particles that are added to a word (after, not before as prefixes), to thereby indicate which grammatical case is, or
change in any way its significance.
Common suffixes:
The most common suffixes are the ones we use to create various tenses ("-ing", "-ed"), plurals ("-s" "-that") and adverbs ("-ly") .
