Accidents

You are covered under the IPRC Ngoma Student's Accident Insurance Policy. If you meet any accident or

injury at any time, please seek immediate medical attention. Please contact the Student Affairs Department

of DSA-IPRC Ngoma to advise you on sensitive matters and report all matters to IPRC Ngoma -ILO.

Why you need to complete the Log Book

The Log Book is a very important part of your learning from the Industrial Training Programme. The

independent and conscientious completion of each week's entries gives you the opportunity to reflect on your

work programme and reinforce your learning from experience. The Log Book is also a record of the practical

skills and knowledge gained during your IAT. A comparison of earlier entries with later ones will show the

progress of your IAT. Your IAT Company Supervisor and The IPRC Ngoma- Industrial Liaison Officer will

check and assess your Log Book regularly. NB:The Log Book plus the IT- Report must be submitted to

IPRC Ngoma- Industrial Liaison Office for grading within TWO weeks after the completion of IAT

exercise.

How to complete your Log Book

Daily Entries: For each work day, record in point form the tasks carried out. Any Public Holidays,

Medical Leaves or any approved leaves should be recorded as such.

you found particularly interesting. You can report on the nature of the jobs, theories and principals involved,

job instructions given, computer programmes used, any materials, tools or machinery used, job procedures

and regulations, sources of error or concern, any safety precautions needed etc. You can describe your
