CLINICS• People would arrive very early in

morning and sometimes wait hours or all day to be seen. Numbers were taken , registration of patients and a system to see triage for blood pressure, weight were the first steps to care. Some had sugar/ glucose checked. Then each saw doctor, some received vision tests, and reading glasses if needed. All received vitamins, many had prescriptions for varies illnesses, some multiple. Physical therapy if needed was given. Some were referred to local hospitals, or referrals for surgeries given.

CLINIC LEADERS AND MISSION STAFF• Sister Helen and Sister

Grace. Clinics we traveled too with community leaders there to help the missions team, help the community and staff in each location. Ranging from 60-100 patients a day. We provided medicine, vitamins, physical therapy, toothbrushes, and glasses.

FROM CHILDREN TO ADULTS HEALTH CARE WAS GIVEN.

CARE FOR THE ELDERLY•This gentleman came in from far away walked with his wife to come be seen at the local clinic, he had a wooden fence for a came. After receiving care, he left with a new metal cane.

OUR MISSION TEAM •Consisted of Doctors, nurses, physical therapist, pharmacist, and team coordinator.

SMILING FACES • These smiling children were happy

to receive their toothbrushes and vitamins, with grateful hearts.

NURSE EDUCATOREducation is important for the patients. Discussion of medication and health problems were addressed. Dietary changes if needed and exercises.

PEOPLE OF JAMAICA•Many people we encountered; children and adults were very happy and grateful to see us. Some only receive medical care when the volunteers groups come out to their neighborhoods. Some have local clinics they can see for a fee.

CLINICS•We used school, community centers, and churches to set up clinics as pictured. Tarps are hung, sheets or boards for dividers to make up rooms for doctors and patients. Little is really needed to make this happen.
