LOS CONDICIONALES EN INGLES

Los condicionales en inglés son utilizados en frases en los que se indica la acción

a tomar en caso de cumplirse una condición. Hay varias formas de formar los

condicionales en inglés, dependiendo del contexto y el tiempo verbal que rodea a

las acciones implicadas.

PRIMER CONDICIONAL:

Se utiliza para expresar una condición que es muy probable que se cumpla.

Sintaxis: If + presente simple + ... + "," + futuro (will) + verbo simple

Ejemplos:

If you study, you will pass the exam.

If she goes to the Doctor, she will feel better.

If they wake up early, they will be the first to arrive.

If she eats a lot, she will be fat.

If we are hot, we will go to the swimming pool.

SEGUNDO CONDICIONAL:

Se utiliza para expresar el deseo de conseguir algo poco probable, o condiciones

difíciles de cumplirse.

Sintaxis: If + pasado simple + ... + "," + (would) + verbo en su forma simple

Ejemplos:

If we won the lottery, we would be rich

If she had money, she would travel around the world

If they had a car, they would go to the beach.

If I get good marks, I will pass all my subjects.

If I lived in France, I would speak French.

TERCER CONDICIONAL:

Se utiliza para expresar una condición que no se puede cumplir, ya que se refiere

a algo pasado, que ya no es posible hacer.

Sintaxis: If + Past Perfect tense , +would/could/might + have + past participle

Ejemplos:

If I had gone to the beach, I would have seen my friends

If I had understood the lesson, I would have approved the test.

If he had got a good job, he would have moved to Rome.

If she had finished the work, she would have gone to the theater.

If my friend had been more intelligent, he would have known the answer.

Se forma con if + simple present + simple future. Se emplea cuando una situación es real o posible: If it rains today, I'll stay at home. Aquí tienes algunos ejemplos traducidos.

LOS CONDICIONALES EN EL INGLÉS

El uso del condicional significa que una acción depende de otra. Los condicionales se utilizan para hablar sobre situaciones reales o irreales. En general, las frases condicionales llevan la palabra "if" (si).

PRIMER CONDICIONAL

El primer condicional se utiliza cuando no hay obstáculos y cuando las situaciones que vemos son muy probables.

Se forma con: IF + PRESENT SIMPLE// FUTURE "WILL"

EJEMPLOS:

• If it rains today, I will stay at home.

• If he is busy now, I will come back tomorrow.

• If she has time, she will visit her parents this afternoon.

• If it is warm tomorrow, we will go to the beach.

• If you pay now, you'll get a discount.

SEGUNDO CONDICIONAL

El segundo condicional se utiliza cuando hay obstáculos pero todavía hay solución, y las situaciones son muy probables pero tienen menos posibilidades de ocurrir.

Se forma con: IF + PAST SIMPLE// CONDITIONAL SIMPLE " WOULD + VERB SIMPLE FORM”

• If I was rich, I would buy a ship

• If she called him, she would know that he wasn´t there.

• If we played well, we would win the game

• If you got drunk, your father would punish you

• If my father met my boyfriend, he would let me go out with him.

TERCER CONDICIONAL

El tercer condicional se emplea para hablar de situaciones irreales o ficticias que nos hubiera (o no) gustado que se dieran en el pasado.

Se forma con: Se forma con: IF... + PAST PERFECT // WOULD HAVE + PARTICIPIO
