• Norwalk Powder Metals, (Norwalk, CT) started as Plant Supervisor ended as Plant Manager. • We made parts out of powder metal. • Scrap was as high as 40%. • Downtime between 30-40%.• Problem solved by adding turn tables to the equipment's.• Allowing time to properly inspect

parts.• Overall scrap was reduced by 45% and productivity rose by 55%.

Greatest AccomplishmentCVS Prosys• Equipment was running 24/7 producing 172 pph, 1,200 per shift. • Time study and arranging stations, showed process could be improved. • Preparation, and sample run showed increase on productivity. • Results 336 pph, 2,350 per shift eliminating weekend for all shifts.• Overall cost saving $ 1.4 million dollars.

Learning Experience• Never give up, if at first you do not succeed try
