Stats: Stats you gain in current day. I still list them even after you alreadymaxed them out for future reference. The numbers in brackets (##/##) are yourcurrent "EXP" for stats and the total of that level. i.e: Lv 1 Academics + 2(2/20). It means you gained 1 Knowledge and need 18 more points to level up.Beware that this doesn't always accurate as I might make a mistake or two ormore, but I can assure you that they have more than 90% chance of accurate. Sodon't worry too much about them.

at Be blue V, get your weapons and armors at the police station, sing your heart out at Mandragora Karaoke to increase your Courage, trade the gems you collected for stats raising Cards and rare items at Shinshoudo Antiques, buy healing items at Aohige Pharmacy, and increase most of your and Personas' stats at Game Panics. Only Power Records have no use whatsoever. You can waste some money at the crane game in front of Game Panics as well. Two Links can be activated here, at the mall. The path with velvet light leads you to the Velvet Room, obviously.

    3. Port Island Station: You can buy some flowers at Rafflesia Florist to give to the girl(s) you love, raise tons of stats at Screen Shot Movie Theater. The outskirt area of the station is place for brain-damage-good-for-nothing punks hanging their useless lives. Akataka (I can't read the kanji really well because the character looks blurry, please correct me if I'm wrong) Mahjong. And the Shot-Bar, Que Sera Sera. Some Requests can be completed here.

    4. Iwatodai Station: The third biggest explorable area in Tatsumi Island after Gekkoukan and Iwatodai Dorm. The first area is the station. Second area is Iwatodai Strip Mall, with buttload of facilities for you to use. Two Links can be activated in this area. The ground level has Bookworms that sold used books, Wild-duck Burger that surprisingly used duck meat in their menus; can help raised your Courage, Octopia vendor that sold takoyaki made from Takoluka's meat. Next, the second level has Sweet Shop that serve no

purpose, Hagakure Ramen for some reason can increased your Charm, while eating at Wakatsu Restaurant can magically raised your Academics. Finally the third level has Book On, the place where you can read manga until you die, and Beef Bowl Shop. *phew* I'm so tired right now. Moving on...

    5. Naganaki Shrine: Two Links can be activated here. You can pray at Inari Sushi for random effects such as getting more experience and money in battles at Tartarus, making it harder to get TIRED in Tartarus, get Soma or Bead Chains from random crap, increased one of your team members' stats, etc. Or offer some cash at the offertory box to increase your Academics. And finally draw some Fortune to increase your relationship with your friends.

    6. Iwatodai Dorm: See below.

Even if you get to ambushed them, they always gain Enemy Advantage and has 50% chance to escape from battle in every turn.

    d. Distressed Shadow: Shadow with nervous sweat icon. Can appear in any sizes either in Black or Crimson Shadows. This type of Shadow will appear once you equip Personas that have higher level than them, not the MC's level itself. Some of the Shadows will be in Distressed status in battles, this effect will lower their attack and defense, as well as easier to get hit with critical. Always run away from your team with annoying screeching sound.

The last name means the family name in Japanese order -- family, given name.So you have to put the family name (Aizawa) and given name (Minoru) here. Ingame MC will be referred as Minoru Aizawa, reflecting the western order. Also, anytime I make any mention of the characters' full names, I'll be using theJapanese order. In this guide, I'll refer him as MC.

You might know this already, but his name in the manga is Arisato Minato. AndI don't use this name even once in my game because I like being original.

    Late Night: Events.

    Early Morning: Events.

At the Main Lobby, spare some time to talk with some students and other peoplehere. Check the bulletin board right across the counter to check which classyou're in. Then head into the path at the left-hand side of the entrance. Theother exits: the path near the bulletin board, stairs and entrance areinaccessible at this point. Enter the faculty office by examining the door tothe left of MC.

    After School: Events.

Evening: You appear inside Iwatodai Dorm's lounge. The first thing comes toyour mind should be: "Yay, finally I can save the game..." ...by examining thesign-in sheet on the counter. Chat with Yukari and Mitsuru here a little. Thenhead to the second floor. Notice two vending machines near the dining tablehere? Check one of them and buy a Mad Bull for future use. Head right to yourroom area but knock the upper right room first just for fun. Then enter yourown room at the end of the hall in case you forgot. I shamelessly quotingYukari: "This is it... Pretty easy to remember, huh? ...Since it's right at

the end of the hall." Yes, yes it is.

restroom and improve your previously GOOD condition to GREAT. This has its usea little bit later. Now exit via main entrance.

    Event.

Wander around town and examine certain places to piss Junpei off. Or just headstraight to Paulownia Mall and enter the police station.

    Event.

You obtained 5,000 yen after a quick chat. Use that cash to buy any armor youlike, or better, save your cash for now as new equipments will appear later. If you still want to buy something, I suggest you to get Short Bow as it hasbetter range than swords, plus you won't stumble if you missed your hit. Justbe sure to save 6,000 yen in your wallet.

For now, exit Paulownia Mall and enter Iwatodai Station. You should appear atthe station area. Go down to the next screen and turn right. There's a shopnamed "Octopia" here that sells some takoyaki. Buy one from it and return toIwatodai Dorm (optional). Examine the door and a message will tell you thatthe time will skip ahead to Evening whenever you enter the dorm. So only dothat if you're sure you've nothing to do outside so that you won't waste yourtime. Now go to Naganaki Shrine and offer 100 yen to the offertory box at thecenter of the shrine. [Academics + 4]

    Evening: Conversation with Mitsuru.

Another message informs you that you're free on your own at this period. Youcan go outside -- only Paulownia Mall -- and increase your Stats or exploreTartarus to train your team members. If you decided to return to your room, the time will become midnight immediately.

Starting from this point towards late May, whenever you talk to your friendseither at the lounge or somewhere inside the dorm, they will provide you withsome helpful information regarding their Personas, Shadows, Tartarus, weapons,as well as some basic battle systems to help you survive.

So go outside and get into the Horror House at Game Panic. [Courage + 4]

Late Night: If you choose not to explore Tartarus, this period will appearwhenever MC enter his room. You can study if MC is fine or just go to sleep torestore his condition. For now, study. [Academics + 2]

Note: Sometimes when you study as usual, there will be a message showing that you get stuck on your worst subject. This is a sign that you will get TIRED on next day. I can't use this condition in this guide as it's TOO random. Unlike the double-study in P4 which occurs 50% of the time, this study-TIRED condition, according to hours of my research, only occurs about 20% of the time. So you just waste your time trying to get one especially when there's a long-ass drawn-out scene you have to watch next day. So we left this one out.

    You're welcome.

Whenever you find Golden Shadows, wait until they turned their back at youbefore smacking them with sword or they will flee and disappear if they sawyou. After you engage them in battle, they always have "Enemy Advantage" whichmeans that they have 50/50 change to escape or stay in battle. If they stay, you can either use normal attacks, physical skills or magical spells. All ofthem can connect or miss the Shadow, but the best attack (for me) is thephysical skills as they have higher damage and okay accuracy. Normal attacksare free, but if you missed the target and stumbled, this will waste your turnto get up. Unless you equipped with bows. And of course magical spells consumeSP, which is valuable in the long run.

From the second floor of Thebel, just run all the way up to the fourth floorwhile fighting some battle until you get Apsaras, then avoid all battle on theway upstairs. Use the green terminal to return to the lobby. Save the game andreturn back to the fourth floor. | Battle Actions |||||| Slash Attack | Garu | Magaru | The Lv shown in every boss fights is the current Lv for MC in my game and notthe bosses, so they might varied with yours.

These birds aren't that tough, although they do evade your attack quite often.Garu and Magaru will seriously damage Junpei as he weak against it, but luckilyYukari can resist it so you can rely on her to cure any injured members.

Set Junpei and Yukari tactics to "Assign Target". Choose one of the Eagle fordecoy and attack all of them with Pierce Attack. Execute All-out Attack (AoA)and let both of them finish off the decoy. Two or three AoAs will end thisbattle. Or you can try the strategies for next fight...______________________________________ ______________________________________| EXP: 51 | Dropped Item(s): Empress Mask x 3 || Treasure(s): Bead Chain | Now MC should reach Lv 4. Save, ditch Yukari and Junpei, and return to thefifth floor and continue. The reason why you should go alone is sometime yourfriends will accidentally lure Shadows to attack them, and you already haveyour hands full to keep MC healthy so he can face all the bosses. Save andreturn to fight another boss.

single and multi-target elements. You'll see the latter when they hit 25% oftheir max health. Around this time the other remaining Hands might heal theinjured one for about 70 HP. Tentarafoo will seal everyone with Panic status, preventing them from casting spells, which make the battle harder if you havelow supply of recovery items.

On your first turn, press R1 to check the order of every combatant. If it looksthe left one...

    1. MC 1. MC2. Hand 1 2. Yukari3. Hand 2 3. Junpei4. Yukari 4. Hand 1

    5. Junpei 5. Hand 26. Hand 3 6. Hand 3

...Then the battle will be easier. If it's the right one, that's when it'll bea little trickier. Let's begin with the left one first. Set those two with"Assign Target" on Hand 1. MC uses Bash on all Hands but cancel AoA, then makehim Stand By. Hand 1 and Hand 2 will stand up and Junpei and Yukari will attackHand 1, leaving it nearly dead. Then after it dead, change to Hand 2. Continueusing the same strategies. Don't ever use AoA as it only does 50 HP damage. Andthat damn sad.

  • 8/13/2019 Persona 3 Fes Guia Ingles

    17/182

I will refer both of these strategies as Knock Down and Leave.

For the right one, set both of them to "Stand By" so they don't screw up thebattle. Use Bash on every Hand and cancel AoA but don't attack any downed Handsor they will teach you the true meaning of pain. This way took a little bitlonger of your time as your team members can't help you at all or the entireteam will suffer some serious damage.

In between each turn after three Bashes, cast Cadenza to restore your team'sHP as well as increasing their dodge rate. Because who knows when those Handsgoing to dodge your attack and retaliate with their own attacks. If thathappen, press triangle so Yukari and Junpei can attack them physically.

Since your level is quite low, two hits from any Hands will surely kill MC, soyou might have to reload a couple of time before you finally manage to defeatthem.______________________________________ ______________________________________| EXP: 90 | Dropped Item(s): Mazio Gem x 3 || Treasure(s): Chewing Soul x 2 | Return to the lobby. Save and use the terminal to the tenth floor. Fight somebattles to get some Personas, items and cash. You might as well wander around4th AND 11th floors in search for some gold chests -- but they look a lot like

safes (safe: a lockable container to put money and other valuable items, incase you're confused) to me. With any luck you might find a rare katana:Juzumaru. Not only this katana is stronger than Imitation Katana and KishidoBlade, it also gives extra 20 HP to anyone who's equip it. It has other use aswell, and we'll get into that a little bit later. On 12th floor, you mightfind another gold safe with a valuable Magic Mirror in it. It repels allspells including status ailments except Almighty. This item will help you alot in the next boss fight, though you can still live without it.

Two more rare items: Traesto Gem and Attack Mirror sometimes appear at the12th floor. The former lets you escape from Tartarus at any time incase ofemergency. And the latter has the same effect as Magic Mirror but it repelsphysical attack.

And finally, at 7th AND 13th floor, you might find unique armor called Shirtof Chivalry. This armor will change appearance of any males who equip it.Send both Junpei and Yukari home when they get TIRED because too much battlewill make them SICK. Continue to fight alone around 2nd floor or if youfeeling confident, go up to the 14th floor to activate another terminal, thencontinue to fight until MC hit Lv 6 or 7. Don't forget to fuse Ara Mitama andOmoikane.

And that's that. You don't have to fight the next boss for now. Even though MCcan beat it all by himself, his condition will prevent him from doing that. SoI will tell you when to explore Tartarus again.

    | || Battle Actions |||||| Pierce Attack | Mazio | Assault Dive (Strike) || Tarukaja | | | Rampage Driver (RD) is seriously tough boss. Its Assault Dive pretty much sendanyone less than 110 HP to kiss the floor. You should notice that Yukari's HPis pretty crappy. So equip her with Life Ring to increase her HP a little.Though that doesn't help much. Other than for her to survive Assault Dive, herfatal weakness against Zio also the one you have to take notice on.

One of the most important thing to do is to nullify Yukari's weakness againstZio. You should find some Rash Guards or Camo Shirts inside Thebel, right?Check some of them to see if they have "Resist Elec" in it. It doesn't matterwhether it's low or high because it will nullify Zio weakness of the one whoequipped it. Give it to Yukari and she will survive every Mazio thrown on herproviding she keeps healing herself. If you don't have any of those armors, leave her at the lobby and just fight the boss with MC and Junpei. (for teambattle)

There's a way you can prevent Mazio from damaging everyone as well as injuringRD itself. More will be discussing below. RD's Pierce Attack rarely shows itsface, about 1/10 times of the battle. Tarukaja is something that you don't want

to see, especially with Assault Dive because both of them can take about 200 HPdamage from unprotected -- without Rakukaja -- Yukari. Pain...

MC can fight it alone at Lv 7. Bring Personas that resist against Strike (AraMitama) and Zio (Omoikane). Switch to Ara Mitama and cast Rakukaja. Next turn, cast Rakunda on RD. If RD uses Assault Dive, MC only took half damage from itif he currently equipped with Ara. Switch to Omoikane and cast Zio on RD. Forsome reason, Zio deals more damage on RD than any other elements. And if itretaliate with Tarukaja, switch back to Ara and recast Rakukaja as powered upAssault Dive can take about 150 HP damage from MC without Rakukaja. You shouldalternate between Ara and Omoikane for the remainder of the battle although RDused Mazio most of its lifetime.

With your team members? The different setup is needed to accomplish this. Firsttell Mitsuru to scan RD and set Yukari and Junpei to "Stand By" so they canrandomly evade RD's attack. Cast Rakunda on RD on MC first turn to reduce RD'sdefense. Then after the analyze result came out, set "Heal/Support" to bothYukari and Junpei. In MC's next turn, use Magic Mirror to inflict massivedamage when it casts Mazio on your team, especially if Rakunda still active.Triple Mazio could take more than 300 HP damage a pop from RD!

You can switch Rakunda and Magic Mirror turns if RD kept pounding your ass withMazio on its first turn. You'll be delightful if right after you used MagicMirror on your first turn, RD casts Tarukaja on itself immediately after that. Then cast MC casts Rakunda on his next turn to see huge chunk of HP get rippedfrom RD own Mazio. Possibly instant KO on it.

If you don't have Magic Mirror, cast Sukunda on RD to reduce its accuracy andevasion. This will increase your chance to survive against RD's Assault Dive. Then cast Rakunda on it and keep attacking it with Zio. Don't forget to switchto Apsaras and cast Cadenza when your entire team suffered serious damage. Keepin mind that Apsaras has crappy endurance to protect MC from RD's attacks. AndOrpheus weakness against Zio didn't help either. If you have extra armors withResist Elec on it, slap it on MC.

Junpei is pretty much useless in this battle because RD's resistance to Agi.

  • 8/13/2019 Persona 3 Fes Guia Ingles

    20/182

You'll see Junpei tries to cast a pathetic Agi on RD most of the time exceptwhen he tosses some Medicines/Medical Powders on any injured member.

You can try to cast Tarunda to reduce RD's attacks, but the only one who knowsit is Orpheus, and he weak against Zio. You might want to fuse him with otherPersonas to get the one that doesn't succumb to Zio. But remember, fusing himmeans that you'll lose him permanently until you gain the ability to re-summonPersonas later. There's no way you can go AoA on RD because it has no weaknessto elements plus nullifies and repels/nulls all physical attacks. Unlesssomeone on your side manage to evade RD's Pierce Attack. To sum it all, fighting this battle alone is far more easier than teamwork. Take your pick.______________________________________ ______________________________________| EXP: 129 | Dropped Item(s): Balm of Life || Treasure(s): Balm of Life | | : Soma | Proceed forward into a square and grab another Balm of Life and Soma. Poisma will continue to annoy the crap of you becauseeven if you cure it, the other Tables will recast it so it's a waste of timeand Dis-Poison to cure the status.

This might sound a little bit like cheating, but to increase your chance ofsurviving this battle to 100% is to level up to Lv 14 and fuse Pyro Jack. Just

like Jack Frost -- who nullifies Bufu, this Persona nullifies Agi completely. And with Poison status that can't kill you, you will survive this battle aslong as you have 1 HP left. Whatever you do, don't use AoA as it only dealtless than 40 HP damage.

If you decided to fight it alone without the need to worry about to restoringyour dead friends' health/corpses, fuse Pyro Jack with some physical skillslike Double Fangs or Zan-ei.

    Or you can use the usual Knock Down and Leave strategy. Check the battle flowand set anyone who have turns after particular Tables to attack them after theyget up.______________________________________ ______________________________________| Dropped Item(s): Vibrant Cloth x 3 | Treasure(s): Bead Chain | _______________________ ____ _______ _____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____| Aqra 36F Boss | Lv | H P | S P | Sl | St | Pr | Ag | Bf | Zi | Gr |||||||||||||| Change Relic | 18 | 0,840 | --- | St | -- | -- | -- | -- | St | Nl || || Battle Actions |||||| Pierce Attack | Garula | Magarula || Dia | Rakukaja | Poison Mist |

Similar boss right next after each other. From Crying Table's Agilao to ChangeRelic's Garula. AND Magarula. Also from single target Poisma to multi-targetPoison Mist. The good thing is you only have to fight one boss instead ofthree, but that doesn't make this boss any easier than that.

If you feel like leveling up all the way to Lv 18, (and you should) fuse Ghoul-- of Death Arcana -- who nulls Garu. Despite this awesome traits, it has onemajor weakness, against Pierce Attack, which CR uses other than its powerfulGarula. If CR decided to use it twice on MC, even Null Wind has no use. Withany luck you might find some armors with Resist Pierce on it. Though it'spretty rare for armors to have physical resistance to begin with. So how tocover this weakness?

Like I pointed before, fight hundreds or so battles until MC hits Lv 18 (whichshould take about four to five hours, minus dozens game over along the way).I hate to resort to such cheap strategies, but there are only four Personaswho have resistance to Garu at this point: Lv 6 Alp, Lv 15 Gurr, Lv 17 Fortuna, and Lv 18 Ghoul. The first three only have Resist Wind as their default trait.

After MC reached Lv 18, make sure you have at least ONE Attack Mirror in yourinventory. Two if possible. Equip MC with any equipments that increase hisStrength such as Giga Power Band. Kick Junpei and Aki out and bring Yukarialong to fight CR. Give her any equipments that increase her Agility. Equip MCwith Persona that has Auto-Tarukaja. Oh, it doesn't matter whether MC is inGOOD or TIRED condition, he will survive for sure.

As soon as the battle begins, press R1 to check the battle flow, you want it tobe like this: 1. MC, 2. Yukari, 3. RC.

MC's first turn, set Yukari to Heal/Support, switch his Persona to Ghoul, thenuse Attack Mirror. If CR casts either Garula or Magarula, MC will nullify itand Yukari only suffered about 20 HP damage from it. On MC's next turn andforward, make him use Assault Dive every turn, and Yukari will also heal himevery turn. If somehow CR used Poison Mist, stop attacking and use Dis-Poisonon Yukari so she will resume to heal MC. She will never use Dis-Poison on her

own unless both MC and her at full health.

If MC managed to score critical hit, use Assault Dive again and never AoA.After CR's HP reached 10% of its maximum health, it will cast Dia to heal itshealth for about 50 HP. At this point it will begin to use Pierce Attackrepeatedly as the last resort. Reflected Pierce Attack usually dealt about70 HP damage, which is quite nice. If you want to add some insurance, useanother Attack Mirror after MC's has been broken. But you don't really needit. Good luck.______________________________________ ______________________________________| Dropped Item(s): Coin of Queen | Treasure(s): Traesto Gem x 2 || : Soma | Go up to the 40th floor and grab the Old Document 02. bad thing is that they tend to recast the spell but it also waste their turnand give your team some spaces to attack.

Before you engage them in battle, equip MC with Power Enhancer (PE) or Personawith Auto-Tarukaja. If you have extra PE, give them to your remaining friends.

Bring Aki along because he's real help here. Set him to Knock Down andothers to Stand By. Then ask Fuuka to analyze them. On MC first turn, castMazio and cancel AOA. Cast your own Tarukaja (or use Fierce Sutra) on two ofyour PE-less friends in two separate turns with the same Mazio > cancel AoA.On MC third turn, cast Mazio and now use AoA to end this battle.

    If you feeling brave, you can try to use AoA after Aki managed to knockevery Beetle down to weaken them. Only do this if Aki has the last orsecond last turn or they will attack you with powerful Kill Rush if they havethe chance.______________________________________ ______________________________________| Dropped Item(s): Battle Horn x 3 | treasure(s): Chewing Soul x 2 | _______________________ ____ _______ _____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____| Aqra 59F Boss | Lv | H P | S P | Sl | St | Pr | Ag | Bf | Zi | Gr |||||||||||||| Intrepid Knight | 21 | 1,000 | --- | St | St | St | -- | -- | -- | Dr || |

    | Battle Actions |||||| Pierce Attack | Magarula | Garudyne || Hama | Kill Rush (Strike) | Dia || Mind Charge | Counterstrike | | This boss has crapload of HP and powerful attacks that mostly kill everyonein single hit. Let's see... Its Garudyne can take about 200 HP damage, thentwo-hit Kill Rush does another 200 HP damage. Its Pierce Attack is weak, only120 HP damage. Magarula is a lot weaker, at 170 HP damage to everyone. Ahaha?Mind Charged Garudyne can reap about 350 HP damage. Um, what else? Oh, it alsorandomly counter any physical attacks and skills with Counterstrike. It alsocan instantly kills single target with Hama. Fabulous!

Intrepid Knight (IK) is vulnerable to Charm (35%). Even though this doesn'talways work, at least you have something to try if you keep losing. So beforeyou engage it in battle, fuse Narcissus since he knows Marin Karin and CharmBoost. Not to mention that Narcissus has resistance against Garu. Like before,Ghoul nulls Garu completely, but doesn't have any spectacular skills to useagainst IK. Other Personas that you should bring with are Hua Po (Agilao),High Pixie (Bufula) or Take-Mikazuchi (Zionga). Alternately, you can equip MCwith Bow of Affection and attack IK every turn and hope that Narcissus' CharmBoost will kick in.

Begin the fight by setting everyone to Support/Heal. Then use Attack Mirror togive some protection against Kill Rush. Yukari will cast Garu for nothing,

Mitsuru with Bufu and most importantly Aki with Tarunda, because this willlower IK's attack by 50%. MC other duty is to heal or use any attack items likeAgilao or Zionga on IK to damage it. He can also help Aki with Tarunda. Orcast Rakukaja on himself to increase his chance to survive.

You should make a habit of switching Tactics once in a while. For example, switch Aki to Support/Heal every three turns and let his other turns toeither Knock Down or Act Freely. That way he doesn't heal a lot when you needhim to attack and will cast Tarunda when it faded out. Yukari has her usualduty: to heal. You can tell Mitsuru to do whatever she wants but letting her

assist Yukari in healing duty is a good choice.

Most of the time you have to use Revival Beads on your friends left and right.Especially Aki and Mitsuru as they will succumb to Magarula and Garudynea lot. If you manage to score critical hit on IK, the damage AoA can inflictsis somewhere around 120 to 150 HP damage. You can try to cast Zio or Zionga toinflict Shock status on IK then continue with critical, but those spells haverather low chance to connect.

Once you managed to get IK charmed, switch to Hua Po and cast Agilao for about70 HP damage. Charm can last as long as five turns, so luck will play majorrole in this battle. After two or three turns, use Revival Bead (if needed) onAki so he will continue to cast Tarunda on IK. You can leave Mitsuru onthe ground if you don't want to waste turn reviving her.______________________________________ ______________________________________| Dropped Item(s): Sword of Queen | Treasure(s): Megido Gem x 2 || : Soma | Continue upstairs to 64th floor. Average damage of those spells are: 100, 150, and150 to all. Prophecy of Ruin inflicts everyone with Fear status, making them

vulnerable to critical hit and sometimes making the victims lose their turns.Use Me Patra Gem to heal it. It will almost always use Dekaja if someone haspositive status effects on him. Hiero also uses the fatal two-hit Swift Strikethat deals about 300 HP damage on everyone. But keep in mind that Hiero willnever use Swift Strike unless someone is in Fear.

Do you have a lot of Muscle Drink and Rancid Gravy? Use any of them on MC toinflict Poison or Distress on him. If MC has negative status effect on him,it will nullify any other status effect directed at MC, including Fear. Thisway he will be the last man standing if you don't have enough Revival Beadsto revive everyone.

Even though Poison and Distress will nullify Fear, they have weakness, too.

Poison, obviously, will sap MC's health every turn, and Distress will increasechance of critical hit if Hiero attacks MC with Strike. Distress also willfade after several turn, so you have to work more to inflict MC with it. As forme, I prefer Poison, that's why I told you to buy additional Medical Powder toheal MC of his sapped HP.

Set Yukari and Aki to Heal/Support, and Junpei to Knock Down. Ask Fuuka toanalyze Hiero as well. Cast Rakunda on Hiero of MC's first turn. Next, try toinflict MC with Poison by using Muscle Drink. After you succeed, switch YukariAI to Knock Down so she will never heal MC of his status.

Make sure to heal MC's health to 200 HP before attacking. Use Getsu-ei for near200 HP damage per hit on Hiero. Then switch to Take-Mikazuchi to null Zio

spells. Heal MC's HP and switch to the previous Persona with Getsu-ei. Continuedoing this until Hiero die. As for Sukunda, just ignore its effect as it willfade in three turns. So use those turns to heal MC to full.

Here's the cheap strategy. If you have Attack Mirror, use it on everyone afterthey get inflicted with Fear. After Hiero used Swift Strike, it will berepelled eight times, possibly ending the fight in single turn especially ifyou cast Rakunda on Hiero before.______________________________________ ______________________________________| EXP: 3,026 | Dropped Item(s): N/A |

Lets review the Lovers attack. Maragion mostly deals about 150 HP damage oneveryone, Holy Arrow deals Pierce damage on single target plus Charm status,Pulinpa renders single target to Panic status; so the victim can't cast anyspells, Life and Spirit Drain sap HP and SP from single target, respectively. And Lovers most powerful attack, Heartbreaker, took about 200 HP from everyunfortunate souls who failed to evade it.

Lovers is slightly easier than Hiero. Hua Po is helpful as she nulls Agi, butyou don't need her to win the fight. Like before, set Aki and Yukari toHeal/Support and Junpei to Knock Down. You only need three Personas:Pale Rider, Queen Mab, and Polydeuces. And it would be even better if you cantransfer Rider's Garula to the Queen. Unlike before, load MC with magic-raisingequipments and give MC a Vayu or Wind Bracer. You know the owner of Polydeuces?

Yes, Aki. And yes again, you only need to bring two people into this fightfor easier and less hair-tearing battle.

So on the first turn, set Aki to Heal/Support and cast Rakunda on FanaticTower (FT). Aki will cast Tarunda on his turn. Switch to Pale Rider andblow FT with Garula for 180 to 200 HP damage. Aki will randomly help youwith Sonic Punch for weak damage: 50 HP damage.

You'll have higher chance to survive by leaving Aki to heal MC wheneverhe gets the chance. After you see FT cast Mind Charge on itself, immediatelyswitch to Queen to nullify the Charged Ma/Zionga. If you left MC unprotected,or FT casts Elec Break on him, he will take about 250 HP damage that possiblykilled him in the progress. With Elec Break active, switch to Queen (if not

already) and cast Rakukaja on MC. This should lower the damage from Ma/ziongaslightly.

What to do about Poison status? Remember that Poison can't kill your team. Butthat doesn't mean that you should ignore it. So use Dis-Poison on the victimthen resume the fight. You don't need to worry too much about your health asAki is one of the best healer in the game in term of priority. He willmake sure that you're in top shape before moving on with other actions suchas casting Tarunda and attacking. But since he only knows Dia at this point, you should use Medical Powder or Diarama on MC as well if his HP dropped below

them over and over will increase your EXP after battle, well, they're not. Sodon't waste your time doing that. And if you manage to bring ???'s life tozero, they will Separate and defeat them at the same time in the next turn, ifany of your allies didn't kill one of them in their turns before yours. And ifthat happened, well, you have to calculate their HP with calculator orsomething, and when they get closer to death, set all of your friends to StandBy so they won't interfere with your plan and kill both Shadows in the sameturn after that.______________________________________ ______________________________________| EXP: 5,001 | Dropped Item(s): N/A | Events.
