I N T R O D U C C I Ó N

El Consorcio Nacional de Recursos de Información Científica y Tecnológica (CONRICYT) lleva a cabo múltiples actividades encaminadas a garantizar el cumplimiento de sus objetivos, responder a las expectativas de su creación, divulgar los avances realizados, los servicios ofrecidos y los resultados obtenidos desde la fecha de su constitución en 2010.Adicionalmente, el CONRICYT se ve asimismo como parte de una estrategia nacional que tiene como fin incrementar la producción científica nacional y promover su difusión a nivel internacional.En este sentido, la labor del Consorcio, además de ampliar y fortalecer el acceso a la información científica universal en formatos digitales, está la de propiciar encuentros entre los autores investigadores nacionales y las editoriales científicas más prestigiadas a nivel internacional.Es, como parte de las estrategias de comunicación y difusión del CONRICYT, orientadas no solo a los beneficiarios directos del Consorcio, sino también a otros destinatarios, como los tomadores de decisiones, medios de comunicación y sociedad en general, que se plantea la organización del QUINTO SEMINARIO ENTRE PARES.

A continuación se describe el Programa del evento.

Generar una cultura de comunicación científica mediante estrategias, como promover la producción de artículos de investigación entre la comunidad académica y de posgrado del país; conocer los avances en el área de difusión de la ciencia y propiciar un mayor conocimiento del quehacer y los recursos de información que ofrece el CONRICYT, creando un espacio de encuentro entre la comunidad científica y académica del país con las principales editoriales internacionales especializadas en el campo.

Con el objetivo de impulsar el turismo en la Ciudad de San Luis Potosí, se ha incluido a las actividades académicas una visita cultural, el domingo 04 de septiembre, al municipio de Santa María del Río, donde se ubica su tradicional Taller del Rebozo. Por la tarde se recorrerá el Centro Histórico y, posteriormente, se realizará el Recorrido de Leyendas Potosinas, donde se podrán revivir las diversas leyendas de la ciudad mediante un recorrido guiado y escenificado. Para este recorrido se contará con cuatro autobuses, con capacidad de 40 asientos cada uno, que trasladarán a los asistentes.

Con el propósito de apoyar a los alumnos de las escuelas con necesidades educativas especiales en el Estado de San Luis Potosí, se promoverá entre los asistentes al Seminario la donación de material didáctico para niños con discapacidad (juguetes, puzzles, encajables, alfabetos magnéticos, materiales que se cierran, encajan y separan, etc.) dicho material será entregado a Instituciones de Educación Especial. La donación se podrá hacer durante los dos días del evento. En la Ceremonia de Clausura se hará la entrega de este material a los representantes del Comité de Damas Voluntarias de la UASLP y de algunas Escuelas Especiales orientadas a la educación de niños con diferentes discapacidades.

I N T R O D U C T I O N

The National Consortium of Scientific and Technological Information Resources (CONRICYT) has proposed, within the framework of its paper "Political Communication and Dissemination", to carry out various activities to ensure compliance with its objectives, meeting the expectations of its creation, disseminating progress, the services offered and the results that have been obtained since the date of its constitution in 2010.Additionally, CONRICYT is seen as part of a national strategy that aims to increase national scientific production and promote its dissemination internationally.

In this sense the work of CONRICYT, apart from expanding and strengthening universal access to scientific information in digital formats, is to promote encounters between national research authors and the most prestigious international scientific editorials.

The FIFTH ENTRE PARES (AMONG PEERS) SEMINAR has been proposed as part of CONRICYT’s communication and dissemination strategy to target not only the direct beneficiaries of the Consortium, but also other recipients, such as decision makers, the media and society in general.

Below we outline the preliminary event Program.

To generate a culture of scientific communication by way of strategies such as promoting the production of research articles among the academic and post-graduate community in the country; to know about progress in the dissemination of science and foster a greater understanding of work to be done and the information resources offered by CONRICYT, creating a meeting point between the country’s scientific and academic community and major specialized international publishers in the field.

In order to boost tourism in the city of San Luis Potosí, a cultural visit has been added to the academic activities for Sunday September 4, with a trip to the town of Santa María del Río, and its traditional Rebozo Workshop. In the afternoon there will be a tour of the historic center of San Luis Potosí, and later a tour focusing on local legends, in which you can relive the various legends of the city with a guided dramatized tour. Guests will be transported on this tour in four motorcoaches, each with a capacity of 40 seats

To support children with special learning needs in the State of San Luis Potosí, seminar attendees will be encouraged to donate educational toys for children with special learning needs (games, puzzles, magnetic alphabets, toys that open, fit together or separate etc.), to Special Education Institutions. In the closing ceremony the donated materials will be handed over to representatives of the UASLP Lady Volunteers and some of the schools dedicated to the education of children with different disabilities.
