OUR TOWN: CORIA DELRO

LOCATION Coria is the largest town on the right bank of River

Guadalquivir, located on the edge of the Aljarafemeseta, just 11 kilometres from Seville.

HISTORY Because of its excellent location and its fertile land,

many different cultures have settled here, as evidencedby the numerous archaeological remains found in thearea. Some of these are: Neolithic Phoenicians Roman Roman Christians

ECONOMY The wealth of Coria comes mainly from agriculture and

livestock: lemmon, orange olive trees and cereals,besides cattle and fighting bulls. Coria also producescanned goods and olives.
