Las teorías son redes dirigidas a capturar lo que llamamos “el mundo”, para interpretarlo, explicarlo y dominarlo, nos esforzamos por hacer una malla cada vez más fina. Esta es una consideración normativa.
El razonamiento práctico se refiere a las preguntas del tipo ¿Qué haré?, mientras el razonamiento teórico se refiere a preguntas del tipo ¿Cuál es la situación?
Los datos de la ciencia de la acción son las acciones de los individuos como miembros de comunidades de práctica.
