La Ascensión
del Señor
Galileos,
¿Qué hacen allí parados,
mirando al cielo?
Ese mismo Jesús que los
ha dejado para subir
al cielo, volverá como lo han visto
alejarse.

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O virgin of virgins my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful; O mother of the word incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy clemency hear and answer me. Amen.

EVERY HUMAN LIFE IS SACRED FROM WOMB TO TOMB
Join St. Ansgar’s Knights of Columbus on May 28th at 4:00 P.M., in the church, to pray a bilingual Rosary for the sanctity and
protection of all human life. Every 30 seconds, abortion takes the life of an unborn child in the United States. The elderly and disabled are also at risk, and those with serious illnesses. A recent Gallup Poll showed that 69% of Americans are in favor of Euthanasia. We know that the Rosary is a powerful weapon against evil. Please help to overturn the culture of death that permeates so much of our society by joining us in prayer this Sunday.

Plan on joining Father Eduardo and Deacon John to visit the Holy Lands, a place often called the Fifth Gospel. Listening to the Readings and Gospel will never be the same, a truly life-changing experience.
Be at the spot where the angel Gabriel announced to
Mary that she will be the mother of God in the Basilica of the Annunciation.
See where John the Baptist lived, see the Church of the Visitation where Mary met her cousin Elizabeth.
Visit the Church of the Nativity and see the place Jesus was born.
Carry the Cross and do the Stations of the Cross through the same streets of Jerusalem where Jesus
walked.
Ride a boat on Sea of Galilee where the Apostles fished and Jesus calmed the storm.
See the Mount of Olives where Jesus often prayed
especially on the night He was betrayed.
See Calvary, go into the empty tomb.
Visit the upper room where the Last Supper and Pentecost took place.
The Mount of Transfiguration and Mount of Beatitudes
and many other sites.
Have Mass at a different Holy site each day.
Visit and enter the Dead Sea, Renew your Baptismal vows in the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized, Re-new your wedding vows at Cana where Jesus performed
his first miracle.
Visit Nazareth, Bethlehem, Jerusalem as well as other places Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the Apostles visited.
Dates are not yet set in stone but will be a 10 day trip somewhere between February 19th and March 12th If we can get around 30 people the price will be around $3300, potentially less dependent upon exact dates. This will include all breakfast & dinners, flights, tours, & hotels. More information to follow. Please let Deacon John know if you are interested in joining them in the trip of a lifetime by leaving a message at the Parish Office 630-837-5553 ext. 100 or send him an email at: [email protected]
630-837-5553 ext. 100 o envíele un email: deaconjohnszarek.comcast.net
