Today the Parish Bulletin Insert features the St. Matthew’s Clergy Society and the Eparchial Communi-cations Office. The St. Matthews Clergy Society is a new goal to the Eparchial Appeal. It is very important to support the Clergy of this Eparchy who have given so much to serve the Faithful of the Eparchy. Without the Clergy, we would not have our Church. We do need to ensure that our Clergy’s financial needs are being taken care of after they

retire.

The Communication Office continues to be the glue that keeps the communication between the Parishes and

Eparchy vibrant.

Please remember that we have gifts for Parish Families who donate to the 2019 Annual Eparchial Appeal at a certain financial level. Parish Families who make a finan-cial contribution of $251 or more will receive a very exten-sive and deeply profound prayer book entitled, “Beneath the Mantle of Your Mercy”. We refer to this book as the “Operating Manual for Ukrainian Catholics”. Those Parish Families contributing between $155 - $250 will receive a

beautiful Pope Francis Rosary and a Rosary Prayer

Ukrainian Catholic cultural identity by offering educational programs in the form of games, religious

activities, hikes, sports, arts & crafts, songs, swimming and other summer camp activities that celebrate arts,

culture and identity of the Ukrainian Catholic community with a goal of enhancing the connection of

Rebuilding Catholic Culture Mini-Conference Featuring Fr. Gregory Hrynkiw

Rebuilding Catholic Culture presents “Logos: The Eternal Word” on June 7 and 8 at Our Lady of

Lourdes Parish, Saskatoon. During the course of this conference, Fr. Gregory Hrynkiw will give four

talks written to help our audience grasp the notion of logos. Logos, which lies at the root of a healthy

intellectual, spiritual, and moral life, is manifest most profoundly in Christ Himself, who is revealed to be

the logos in John’s gospel. Fr. Gregory will explore the historical development of logos from its seeds in

the early Greek and Judaic traditions, through the development of Christendom, to the present age, and will

examine the nature of attacks upon logos in history and in contemporary culture. The opening keynote on

Friday June 7th at 7:30pm is a free. The full-day Saturday event requires pre-registration and features

an opening Mass, 3 talks, lunch, and a question period/social. Cost of the full-day event is $50/couple,
