Why Focus on Adults?• Creates a college going culture in families

• High school students not enough to get TN to 55%

• 65% of US jobs will require post-secondary education

• Employers cannot find qualified workers for current jobs

Graduate Memphis (GM)• An Action Initiative of Leadership Memphis

• Core Components :• College Resource Center• One-on-One Advising for Adults• Employer Outreach and Engagement• College and Career Preparatory Workshops• Student Success Celebrations (twice a year)• College Success 101: Online College Prep Course (trial phase)


Director- Develops strategy, vision, and goals

- Team Lead on funding/sustainability- Leads GM Team and coordinates team activities as needed
