Por años la sabiduría popular ha dicho que el mejor tratamiento para un ojo morado es poner carne cruda sobre el.Estudios científicos han comprobado que la carne ayuda a reducir la hinchazón usando en el proceso curativo un bistec frio pero este retarda la recuperación de los vasos sanguíneos rotos, que son la causa de las marcas negras y azules alrededor de los ojos.

Este mismo estudio ha demostrado que la aplicación de carne tibia y suave, es mas efectiva para ayudar a que los ojos se recuperen del daño.

For years the conventional wisdom has been that the best treatment for a black eye is to put a piece of raw meat on it. Scientific studies have   proven that while the meat helps reduce the swelling and aids in the healing process,using a cold steak actually delays the recovery of broken blood vessels that cause the black and blue marks around the eyes. These  same studies have shown that application of warm, soft, and tender meat is the most effective in helping the eyes to recover from the damage.
