DR. NAZIM ÇERKES

Doctor Nazim Cerkes was born in 1959 in Istanbul. After graduating from Ankara Fen Lisesi (Science High School) in 1977, he has completed his medical degree from Hacettepe Medical Faculty, Ankara, in 1983. He has started his plastic surgery training in 1985 at the Department of Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery, Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. During his residency he has spesifi cally worked in the fi eld of microsurgery and has started the clinical applications of reconstructive microsurgery at the department. At the year of 1990 he has completed his plastic surgery training in Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Between 1990 - 1991 worked in UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham) at the Department of Plastic Surgery as a clinical fellow. During this fellowship he worked with Luis O. Vasconez. Between 1992-2002 Doctor Nazim Cerkes served as Associate Proffessor and Proffessor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine.In the begining of 2002 he left the University and opened Cosmed Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center. During his private practice he has focused on Facial Aesthetic Surgery and Rhinoplasty.He has been working in private practice since that date in İstanbul.As a result of his experience in rhinoplasty he has been invited to several international and national meetings as a member of faculty. Doctor Nazim Cerkes is an Educational Council Member of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS),Member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons(ASPS), Turkish Association of Plastic Surgeons and Tur-kish Association of Reconstructive Microsurgery. Doctor Nazim Cerkes is married and has two daughters. He speaks English and Italian.

DR. OLIVIER GERBAULT

El Dr. Gerbault se autodefi ne como un cirujano plástico dedicado a la cirugía nasal desde hace más de diez años. Hace su residencia en Cirugía Plástica en París y trabaja en Cirugía Maxilofacial. Es jefe de Residentes en el Hospital St Louis en París. Conoce al Dr. Aiach en 1977, lo que despierta en él la pasión por la rinoplastia, lo que él denomina “rinovirus”. Para esta “enfermedad” consulta a diversos especialistas para encontrar cura, espe-cialmente al Dr. Rolin Daniel, “lejos de curarse, se incrementan sus síntomas”.....”Desesperado”, comienza su práctica privada en 2000 y se asocia al Dr. Aiach en 2008.Obsesionado por buscar la perfección le empuja a trabajar en diferentes métodos de camufl aje para prevenir defectos antes (y después de suturar la piel)Autor de numerosos artículos sobre rinoplastia, especialmente sobre suturas cartilaginosas e injertos.Es coautor con el Dr. Aiach del libro Rinoplastia Vía de Abordaje Externa, publicado en 2008. DR. JUAN MONREAL

Licenciado en Medicina por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y Médico Especialista en Cirugía Plástica, Estéti-ca y Reparadora en el Hospital La Paz de Madrid. Completó su formación en Cirugía Estética en el Hospital Gea González de México, con el Prof. Fernando Ortiz Monasterio y en el Hospital Mount Sinai de Nueva York. Desde 1995 tiene dedicación exclusiva a la Cirugía Estética en toda su extensión, aunque ha mostrado especial interés por la cirugía estética facial.Ejerce de forma habitual en el Hospital San Rafael de Madrid.A lo largo de estos años ha participado en numerosos cursos y congresos de Cirugía Plástica y estética y ha publicado diversos artículos en revistas nacionales y extranjeras, dentro de los que cabe destacar los que hacen referencia a la utilización de los injertos de grasa autóloga en diferentes áreas corporales.Es miembro de las siguientes Sociedades científi cas:Sociedad Española de Cirugía Plástica, Reparadora y Estética.International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

DR. RICCARDO F. MAZZOLA

Riccardo Mazzola obtained his Medical Degree at the University of Pavia in 1967. Board in ENT in 1970 at the University of Ferrara. Board in Plastic Surgery at the University of Milan in 1974 (head Prof. G. Sanvenero Rosselli). He received his General Surgery training at the University of Milan from 1974 through 1977. Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Milan since 1971 and he is currently the Responsible for the Plas-tic and Reconstructive Surgery training program, of the Postgraduate School of ENT, and Maxillo-Facial at Milan University School of Medicine.On April 1975, he established the Fondazione G. Sanvenero Rosselli for Plastic Surgery, as a tribute to his late uncle Gustavo Sanvenero Rosselli, founder of Plastic Surgery in Italy. The institution promotes various forms of teaching, fulfi lling a continuous postgraduate training program, by arranging meetings, seminars and courses in the fi eld of Plastic Surgery. Directed by a Board of Trustees, the Fondazione has coordinated more than 150 meetings/seminars and organized 44 theoretic-practical courses with live surgery over the years. Riccardo Maz-zola is currently the Vice-President. The Fondazione houses one of the most important rare books collections on Plastic Surgery, with volumes dating from 1490 onward (more than 3,000 books).Founding member, Secretary General and President of the EURAPS (European Association of Plastic Surgeons). Secretary of the Italian Society of Plastic Surgery from 2001 to 2004. Riccardo Mazzola is a member of over 15 national and international societies, among them the prestigious American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS).He presented 450 invited panels, lectures, conferences, courses at National or International Meetings/Congres-ses. He has organised 48 Congresses or Courses.Keynote speaker in numerous International Congresses, he has been awarded the Maliniac lecturer at the 2006 ASPRS Congress in S.
