• A for profit business 51% owned and operated by an economically disadvantaged persons of a qualifying group:

• Black• Hispanic• American Indian• Asian Indian, • Asian Pacific, & • Women

•Registers your business with a certifying entity (at no cost)• Provides government entities with a list of certified DBEs available who want to do business with government• All government entities are required to make a good faith effort to include DBEs in their procurement opportunities/bids
