see a f i lm. I never l isten to the radio and I never watch
televis ion. I do nothing from morning to night, because I
have nothing to do. Sometimes I feel t hat I am going mad.
I know that you are al l th inking: Then why do you l ive in
such a place?
Well , I came here because I need some peace.
My wife and I used to quarrel a l l day long. She enjoyed
quarrel l ing! She shouted at me so much that I became
nearly deaf. (And she had such a horr ib le voice!)
One day she became even angrier than usual - just
because I had forgotten to post a letter!
You are always the same, you id iot! she shouted, So
fool ish! So careless!
My dear, I said, p lease be sensible! I can post theletter tomorrow. And please dont shout! I have a terr ib le
cold and my head aches.
But she was pit i less.
