P R E S E N T A C I Ó N

En el escenario actual de acelerados y continuos cambios en la ciencia y la tecnología que se verifican a escala mundial, así como en las diversas especialidades del saber humano, el proceso de globalización mundial a través de los medios de comunicación, obliga a la educación formar personas que puedan estar a la par con esta dinámica de cambios.

El desafío de la educación actual impone la necesidad de formar recursos humanos preparados para enfrentar competitivamente estos desafíos.

En esta dinámica contemporánea la educación plantea el desafió de la formación integral de los estudiantes para su desempeño eficiente en la adquisición de aprendizajes.

Uno de los instrumentos para el logro de éste objetivo es el dominio de por lo menos un idioma extranjero.

En este sentido planteamos el siguiente programa de estudio del Idioma inglés para estudiantes de La Universidad Salesiana de Bolivia.El siguiente programa propone como objetivo que los alumnos alcancen un nivel de aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa hasta lograr su dominio efectivo de lo enseñado.

En las actuales circunstancias el aprendizaje del segundo idioma no puede ser considerado como una simple muestra de la calidad educativa de una casa superior de estudios, sino como una necesidad. Las razones que nos llevan a este convencimiento son las siguientes:

a) La creciente demanda social respecto a la lengua inglesa que ha dado lugar a una proliferación impresionante de instituciones docentes especializadas fuera del sistema educativo oficial.

b) La creciente expansión del inglés como primer vehículo mundial de comunicación en todos los campos, desde el comercio a la investigación científica.

c) Como un modo eficaz de impulsar la calidad de la carrera de ingeniería de sistemas, que gracias al sistema bilingüe ampliaría sus horizontes y encontraría una importante fuerza dinamizadora.

estructuras gramaticales generales y puedan hacer las conjugaciones verbales correspondientes en los tiempos presente, en forma afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa. (oral y escrita)

Incrementar progresivamente el vocabulario del alumno, desarrollar las cuatro áreas del aprendizaje de una nueva lengua: listening, speaking, reading y writing.
