generating sets
RGAM series
Order code Aux. Description Wtsupply
[V DC] [kg]
31 RGAM 12 12 Standard version, 1.014
31 RGAM 24 24 parameterprogramming viakeypad on unit front, equipped with serialRS-232 port for remotecontrol by personalcomputer via normalor GSM modem forsupervision, troubleshooting andmaintenance purposes.
31 RGAM 12RC 12 Specific version fitted 1.145
31 RGAM 24RC 24 with serial RS-485 portfor personal computerconnection andnetworking up to 32stand-by generatingsets via converterdrives.
31 RGAM SW –– PC-RGAM remote ––control softwarecomplete withconnecting cables forcommunications viaRS-232/RS-485 ports.
RGAM control units are microprocessor controlled andavailable in two types, used to automatically start stand-bygenerating sets and mains-generator changeover whenmains anomalies occur. Each unit monitors and displays thestatus of all critical engine and alternator functions andprovides three-phase control of the mains, includingasymmetry and single phase control of the generator, withRMS readings.

Remote control and supervision– Autocall function, for the automatic connection to a
remote PC when an alarm arises.– GSM modem to overcome any problem of distance,
unmanned and/or isolated sites.Very interesting communications features are obtained by theAutocall function combined with the GSM modem, such as:– SMS (Short Message Service): At alarm events, the
RGAM can send its ID and alarm code with time and dateentry. This advantage is the possibility of reaching servicepeople, without delay, wherever they are located.
– E-mail (via Internet): A message, with the same structureas above, can be trasmitted to a specified mailbox. Theadvantages on this type of message with respect to theSMS are that any communication, received throughInternet mail server, is permanent and a vast number of these can be received and reviewed at any time.
